The Greatest Investment- Romans 1:16 (ESV)

16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

Do you have any investments? Maybe you’ve invested in stocks or bonds. Or maybe you have investment property. When we invest, we look for the investment that will give us the greatest return on our investment.

Paul invested in the souls of mankind. He shared the gospel message everywhere he went. The most unique thing about sharing your faith is that when you do, you don’t lose what you had. You have the same amount of faith that you had before you shared it. God gives us an endless supply of faith. You can share your faith, or give your faith away every day, and you will never lack for faith. You will always have the same amount. What other investment can make that promise?

Stocks, bonds, and even land are not eternal. Human souls are. The best investment you can make is to invest in human souls by sharing the gospel. Like Paul, do not be ashamed of the gospel. As Paul reminds us, it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.
