God’s Righteousness Manifested- Romans 3:21(ESV)

21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law.

Paul wrote to the Romans telling them that the righteousness of God had been manifested apart from the law. Many people, still today, believe that righteousness can be obtained through the law. Paul makes it abundantly clear in all his writings that God’s righteousness does not come from the law. God’s righteousness comes from Christ, who fulfilled the law.

Jesus Christ is the only One who has ever been able to fulfill the law. No other man or woman has the ability to fulfill the law and achieve righteousness. Our sin declares us guilty before God and condemns us to eternal separation from God.

Thankfully, God saw our predicament and provided the remedy for us. God’s righteousness, apart from the law, is found in Jesus Christ. When we come to Him in faith and ask Him to forgive us our sins on the basis of His fulfillment of the law, death, burial and resurrection, we receive a full pardon for our sins and our eternity is settled as being with Him in the Kingdom of God.
